UK-based truck-mounted access platform company Smart Platform Rental has added the first CPL E-Tech KL26 and KL21b van-mounted cherry picker in the UK to its fleet.
The E-Tech KL26 is a fully electric van-mounted cherry picker. With a range of 110 miles*, the KL26 is a ULEZ-compliant eco-friendly platform mounted on a 3.5-tonne Renault Master chassis. The KL26 has a working height of 11.8 metres and a maximum outreach of 6.5 metres. It has no outriggers and can elevate one operative.
CPL E-Tech KL26
Smart Platform Rental has expanded its fleet of diesel van-mounted platforms by introducing six new CPL KL21bs. These units, mounted on a 3-tonne Renault Traffic chassis, feature a design without outriggers. This innovation reduces their footprint, making them highly effective in narrow spaces, and decreases their weight, thereby increasing their payload capacity for tools and equipment. The KL21b offers a maximum working height of 11.2 metres and a reach of up to 6 metres, enhancing its versatility and performance.

CPL KL21b
The all-electric E-Tech KL26 cherry picker will initially be based in Smart Platform’s Birmingham depot. The KL21bs will be spread across Smart Platform’s locations in Hemel Hempstead, Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield, Dartford, Bristol, and Southampton.
