Excess details for hires on our CDW
The hirer is responsible for the first £1,000 of any damage to the vehicle itself.
The hirer is responsible for the first £2,000 of any damage to boom.
The hirer must inform Smart Platforms of any accident or potential claim by telephone at the time of the incident, insurance claim forms must be completed and returned to Smart Platforms within 24 hours of the incident, failure to report accidents within the above timescale may result in non-acceptance of claim and any third-party losses will be redirected to the hirer for settlement.
There are a few items which are not covered such as glass, lights, mirrors, tyres, trims & aerials
It also doesn’t cover striking low-level objects.
If the machines were to come back in an un-hireable condition it could stay on hire until it’s repaired. Continued hire charges are not covered by the collision damage waiver.
