If your work is based on a single site for a long period (weeks or months), you may be better off with a site-delivered boom or scissor lift. These machines are best for static work and can be arranged through our rehire division, Smart Rentall.
But for short jobs or projects across multiple sites, our self-drive vehicle-mounted cherry pickers are the perfect solution. These MEWPs can be driven between jobs on a standard UK licence, giving you full control of your schedule.
Space can be tight in some areas of Southampton and surrounding towns. Our fleet includes compact and narrow-jacking options for restricted areas:
V11T – No outriggers, just 2.2m wide.
Z20i – One-sided jacking: full reach on one side only.
S20J – Narrow jacking for urban setups.

Outreach is measured from the turret (centre of the machine), so always allow for extra room. Just a metre short can stop the job.
