Our machines provide an effective modern access solution for work at height, but there’s always room for improvement – of course. We have conducted a safety driven initiative in order to create a safer working environment. Smart platforms driving safety forward with anti-entrapment (also referred to as secondary guarding).
Secondary Guarding
In the unfortunate event in which an operative finds themselves crushed and pressed against the controls – the machine will be stopped immediately, a 90 decibel siren will sound and a beacon below the basket will be illuminated to attract attention.
This is a simple solution to a proven cause of fatalities.
Furthermore, in addition to the above we also offer a non-mechanical alternative anti-crush system, SanctuaryZone.
Both of these systems are working today on major UK projects, protecting the platform operators.
